I love characters, in all their various guises.

I can be a 500 year old vampire on Monday, or the victim, or both... 

​

A Wizard on Tuesday, or a dashing Highlander (all kilts and muscles).

​

Fighting against a zombie horde on Wednesday - with an afternoon off for the discovery of a suspicious death in Berkshire).

​

Thursday there is a crime to be solved, possibly as a grizzled detective or a dog - who knows? 

​

Friday, I am a bit exhausted, but I need to find the perpetrator of the crime...or be a Mage to defeat the Evil Lord....maybe the Highland lassie needs saving or whisking away...(I can dream) -  but then there is the zombie hoard that needs sorting out before the weekend....

I craft individual 'voices' for each and every character, all unique. I enjoy the narration hugely and listers do to.

​

I perform a myriad of accents that gives me the opportunity the expand the character base massively - any English accent, many Scottish accents ( I am a Border Man). Ireland. Europe - where do we start? Scandie, German, French, Spanish, Italian, then American and away the other side - Eastern European is a speciality. Also Africa, Aussie, Kiwi and many others.

 

I narrate for independent authors and publishing houses on Per Finished Hour (PFH) rate and Royalty Share (RS)

I have narrated over 150 audiobooks to date, mainly fiction in various genres, including - Cozy Mysteries, Crime, Thrillers, Fantasy, Dystopian, Biographies, Horror and Romance.
